Internet Defense is a fast-paced action game packed with old-school arcade style fun. In the game, you fight frantically against an endless horde of mindless Creeps, set on destroying your precious servers.

Today, I’m giving you all a preview of the devious evil that plagues the internet: the Creeps.

Generic Creep

This is a Generic Creep (note the barcode). These minions of evil are the simplest assailants you will encounter, and just about any weapon will take them out.

Nuke Creep

These little creeps attack in swarms, often proving difficult to hit because of their tiny size. Firewalls can help you catch the majority of these guys without too much headache.

Zombie Creep

These tenacious creeps don’t know when to give it a rest! After being hit, they’ll usually lay low for awhile before returning to life to plague you!

Infiltrator Creep

Among the creepiest of creeps, the insidious infiltrator creeps can teleport, allowing them to get behind your firewalls and making them difficult to follow.

56k Creep

Talk about slowpokes! The 56k creeps are internet dinosaurs that move at a crawl, but have tons of HP. Because they require lots of attention to kill, they can distract you from the advance of more deadly creeps.

Flamer Creep

Hurling flames on forums and message boards isn’t enough for these vitriolic users, so they’ve turned to assaulting your server. They dash at blinding speed, and cannot be trapped by firewalls, so watch out!

Hacker Creep

Hackers are dangerous creeps who are immune to being banned. They can burrow underground to move forward invisibly, often using this tactic to evade firewalls that might stand in their way.

Smart Creep

These adaptive creeps will alter themselves to become immune to whatever weapons you use on them. Only by switching up your tactics mid-battle will you be able to defeat them!

Banana Creep

The outer skin on these creeps is just a mask! When defeated, they will morph into another kind of deadly creep–one especially resistant to whatever kind of weapon you used to stop them before.

Troll Creep

Trolls are the most monstrous creeps of the net. Armed with nothing but tons of life, they rush forward and dare you to stop them. It will take all your focused fire to remove one of these foes.

The creeps were all animated by emoticon genius Guy Ross. You can see his dA site here for even more emote madness.

So, those are the foes you’ll be facing down to defend the internet. Not deadly enough? Next week, I’ll reveal the villainous hackers that you can battle in challenge mode!
