Internet Defense is a fast-paced action game packed with old-school arcade style fun. In the game, you fight frantically against an endless horde of mindless Creeps, set on destroying your precious servers.

Today, here’s a preview of the nefarious villains that you can take on in the villain challenge mode! These bosses are designed to be tough challenges for experienced players. They scale in difficulty from Moulder, the easiest of the bunch, to Crepski, whom even I have never beaten. (It may not be possible. Please tell me if you do it!)

Moulder

The leader of the hacker web ring E.M.O, Moulder commands legions of zombie creeps, as well as a vast swarm of unpleasant flamers and trolls.

Blueskreen

Originally a chess-playing computer, Bluskreen’s programming was warped in a fatal crash, and mutated into a virus that now plagues the internet, searching for more machines to infect and destroy.

Mute

As the head of a secret underground hacker Bulletin Board system, Mute routinely crashes servers just for the fun of it. Through his BBS, he commands hundreds of hackers and trolls.

Blackhat

A professional industrial spy and mercenary hacker, Blackhat is well known among the international net community. He is an adaptable and cunning foe.

Cap’n

Cap’n is the leader of the Pirate Cove, a den of villainous professional software and music pirates. Few can stand up to his crew and survive.

Crepski

The leader of the totalitarian internet regime, the USSB, Crepski will stop at nothing to crush all those who oppose his goal of total internet domination.

These creeps were all animated by emoticon genius Guy Ross. You can see his dA site here for even more emote madness.

Also, level 99 is currently sponsoring a Create Your Own Creep contest on DeviantArt! If you think you have the mad skillz and epic win to create your own creeps, why not give it a go! Check out the rules and info at the Internet Defense ‘Serious Business’ design challenge page.
